Flight Transfer at klia2
Terminal klia2 allows passengers to transfer from one flight to another
within klia2 without the hassle of going through immigration and custom
processing, and of having to collect your baggage when you are taking 2
different flights to get to your final destination.
If you have planned a flight transfer at klia2 using
AirAsia’s Fly-Thru Service, check
your flight status at the flight information display monitors to confirm the
departure gate and time of your next connecting flight after you landed at
klia2.
To board your next flight, proceed to your designated Transfer Hall to collect
the boarding pass (if it was not given at the point of origin), then go to the
boarding gates. For passengers who need a transfer to International Flight at
Pier P or Pier Q klia2, the Transfer Hall is located at Level 2 of the Satellite
building.
Passengers are advised to observe the overhead signboard for directions to the
Transfer Hall.
Depart from Different Airport Terminal
If your next connecting flight is not departing from klia2, you will need to
have valid transit visa (for whose required) to pass the immigration process at
klia2 and go to your next airport terminal (KLIA).
Please spared a minimum of 4 hours for your layover as you will need time to
collect your luggage, go through Customs and Immigration checks before head to
the next terminal. Please take note that klia2 and
Kuala Lumpur International Airport
(KLIA) terminals are treated as separate entities. You have to go through
immigration control at one before traveling to the other.

KLIA, you can proceed to the
Transfer Hall to reserve a free shuttle transfer between klia2 and
KLIA.
