Visa on Arrival

Visa on Arrival (VOA) will no longer be issued in Malaysia except for nationals of People’s Republic of China and India.

Citizen of countries eligible for Visa on Arrival (VOA) are:

• People’s Republic of China
• India

Eligibility

• Nationals of eligible countries arriving from Thailand, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia with a valid visa from their respective countries,

• Arrival must be through these entry points:

 - Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA and KLIA2)
 - Penang International Airport
 - Senai International Airport, Johor Bahru, Johor
 - Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah
 - Kuching International Airport, Sarawak
 - Langkawi International Airport, Kedah
 - Miri Airport, Sarawak
 - Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Selangor
 - Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB), Johor Bahru, Johor
 - Immigration Control Post Sungai Tujoh, Sarawak
 - Immigration, Custom, Quarantine and Security Complex Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah
 - Immigration Control Post, International Ferry Terminal, Labuan

• The tourist shall have in possession a confirmed return ticket departs within 15 days upon VOA application

• Proof of funds of at least USD500 or an equivalent amount in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR) in the form of :

- Cash
- Traveler’s cheque
- Credit Card / Debit or eMoney (recognized by Central Bank of Malaysia),

*Note: Issuance of VOA will cost MYR200 and will be valid for 15 days with no further extension. The entry of foreign visitors are subject to applicable laws and regulations. The final decision of VOA application is subject to Immigration Officer's discretion.
