MYAirline, Z9 series flights at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2)
MYAirline ceased operations on 12 October 2023
MYAirline is a low cost carrier based in Malaysia founded in 2021. It is
headquartered in Subang Jaya, Selangor and primarily operates from klia2, the
low-cost carrier terminal of Kuala
Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The airline began its maiden flight on 1 December 2022 to
Kuching International Airport.
On 5 December 2022, MYAirline officially introduced routes to Kota Bharu,
Penang and Sibu on its network. The flight will commenced on 10 December
2022 for Kota Bharu, followed by Penang on 23 December and 18 January 2023
for Sibu. The operations to Kota Bharu and Sibu will be on a twice-daily
basis, while Penang will began on a single-daily flight, before being
increased to twice flights per-day from 7 January 2023.
MYAirline's plan to serve Tawau, Miri, Alor Setar and Terengganu will be
initiated after the airline received the regulatory approvals. While its
international expansions to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam is
expected to take place by March 2023. The carrier is projected to fly on
destinations located within a four-hour flight radius from its origin,
optimum for the low-cost carrier operations.
As MYAirline adopted a no-frills module, the carrier presented several
optional services for an alternative additional fee. This included
opportunity to increased luggage allowance, assigned seating and in-flight
meals (as of December 2022).

Starting from June 2023, MYAirline offers flights to over 10 destinations
within its domestic routes. Additionally, the airline is expanding its
operations to international destinations, with the first one being Bangkok,
Thailand. In the course of 2023, MYAirline plans to further extend its flight
network to encompass other neighboring countries within the Southeast Asian
region.
On 12 October 2023, the airline announced that it has
suspended operations effective immediately due to severe financial challenges.
