Departure Hall and Check-in at klia2

After walk through the gateway@klia2 mall, you will be reach the public concourse of the Departure Hall located at Level 3 of the klia2 Main Terminal Building.

Upon entering the public concourse, you will see the big overhead monitor for flight information display system and the information counter.

At the public concourse, there are 4 islands with a total of 128 Common User Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) check-in counters, identified by alphabets S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z. There are also 55 self-service check-in kiosks and lots of seating areas.

Domestic Departures / Check-in

For Domestic Departures, the entrance is located at the left side of the Departure Hall. After performing check-in and luggage drop, you will walk through the main entrance for Domestic Departures at the left side of the Departure Hall. After the security check, you need to go down to Level 2 / Level 1A to go to Pier J / Pier K for your boarding gate.

Please spare sufficient time for the Domestic Departures, the estimated duration to walk from Domestic security checkpoint to Gates J1 - J22 is 3 - 10 mins; to Gates K2 - K18 is 7 - 15 mins.

International Departures / Check-in

Walking toward the end of the concourse, you will see the main entrance for International Departures.

For International Departures, after performing check-in and luggage drop, you will passing through the main entrance for International Departures at the Departure Hall. Pass through the Immigrations and customs check counters and turn right before the Skybridge if you are boarding at Pier L. From the security checkpoint to Gates L1 - L22 is about 2 - 10 mins.

If your boarding gate is located at Pier P or Pier Q, then continue walking to cross the Skybridge. After crossing the Skybridge, go down to Level 2 of the Satellite Building and look for Pier P / Pier Q for your flight boarding.

The Pier P and Pier Q are located away from the Departure Hall. The estimated duration from Immigration / customs checkpoint to Pier P and Pier Q security checkpoint is about 10 mins. From the security checkpoint to Gates P1 - P21 or Gates Q3 - Q21 is about 2 - 10 mins.
