Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 are they the same airport terminal?
There are two different terminal, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is also known as the Main Terminal for full service airlines and klia2, the low-cost-carrier terminal. klia2 is located less than 2 kilometers away from KLIA, and is connected to KLIA via the Free Shuttle Bus and Express Rail Link. How do I contact the klia2 management?

How early can I check-in for my flight in klia2?
Passengers are advised to check in 3 hours (for international travels) and 2 hours (for domestic travels) before flight time. However, it is recommended that you contact your respective airlines for more information.

Is there WiFi coverage at the klia2 terminal?
Yes, free WiFi is available in both public and transit areas of the terminal.

I lost one of my belongings at the airport. How do I find out if it was retrieved?
You may contact the klia2 lost and found department at +603-8778 5409 or Air Asia Lost and Found klia2 office +603-8778 5495. Check on the Lost and Found page for more information.

Can I get a prepaid SIM card at the Airport?
Prepaid SIM cards are available at the Arrival Hall (Level 2) in klia2. Check the Telecommunications Shops here.

Is there any banking facility in klia2?
There are CIMB Bank e-banking services at the Departure Hall (Level 3) in klia2 Terminal. AmBank e-banking service is located at Level 2 and Level 3 in the klia2 Departure Hall. Maybank full service banking is also available at Getaway@klia2. You can find numbers of ATMs at both public and transit areas in all terminals.

Can I buy duty free items in klia2?
As per Customs regulations, only passengers who have an international boarding pass and valid passport are eligible to shop duty free. Check on the Duty Free page for more information.

My flight arrival on midnight, any accommodation nearby klia2?
There are few hotels within walking distance from the klia2 terminal’s check-in counters. And more hotels are within a short 20 km radius from the klia2 terminal. Check on the Hotels page for more information.
